Our story
Since 2012, one bay at a time.
Shift Theory started because we were tired of tuners who sold numbers instead of cars. We wanted a place where every modification is measured, explained and signed off by the person who did the work.
Today the workshop covers calibration, fabrication, restoration and wraps — but the rule is the same as on day one: no car leaves until it drives better than it arrived. Not just faster. Better.

Timeline
Mile markers.
One bay, one lift, one borrowed laptop. Shift Theory opens under a railway arch in Hackney.
We install our own hub dyno — every car is measured before and after from now on.
The wrap studio opens: a dust-controlled bay for colour changes, liveries and PPF.
Our first 1,000 HP street build leaves the workshop and still passes its MOT.
The move to Kiln Lane: six bays, a fabrication shop and a proper customer lounge.
412 builds delivered, 38,400 horsepower added — and still one borrowed laptop.
